As part of September's Gallery Mittwoch exhibition, My Door Organ presents the work of two artists, Madeline Stillwell and Kate Theodore. Stillwell and Theodore are working with raw, industrial, and found materials to create two installations which invade the space, giving a character of weight and suggested movement. Solid things feel eerily alive as if they are functioning towards something you cannot know. The dimensions of the space are undermined as the objects move unrestricted by the walls that should contain them.

An alternative art space is born in Berlin.
My Door Organ is a unique and newly established project room for international artists. The feeling and aesthetic of the room is completely transformed each month according to the ideas of the artist or group of artists invited inside. We are located in an old brewery--The Friedrichshöhe, in East Berlin at Landsberger Alle 54--and our space is available as a work studio, or for temporary installations, exhibitions, performances and screenings.
